She's put that murdering part behind her though. Usually.
Still, when Tony gave her a head start on Ross, she knows she can't stay anywhere for too long, but there isn't the rush that comes with being on a mission. She could take her time. Be a tourist, even. And it's doing just that, in a small little tourist trap in Brussels that she first feels the eyes of a tail on her, before she picks up a pair of dramatic sunglasses, and doesn't even glance over her shoulder.]
What do you think? I'm not really sure they're my color.

Bucky is finally getting the help he needs. The way that help has come into play has gutted Steve. He can't stay there while Bucky lays there motionless like some fairy tale princess. He needed to go. (He needed her.)
He ducks his head apologetically.] Sorry for dropping in like this. I just... I needed to see a friend.

Once she pays the merchant, she slips her arm through his, using it to guide him through the marketplace as they walk. A talk drink of water that's distinctively Captain America looking walking with a noticeable redhead is probably going to catch a few red flags but right now she doesn't care. If they want to arrest them, they can certainly try.
It's not like they'd be able to hold them.]
Travel anywhere interesting lately?

His tone is dry as he tells the story.] I went out to see the ocean. Got in a big fight, but I found my friends so I'd say I broke even on that one. Your best friend says hello by the way.

I guess I didn't hit him hard enough.
[Not that she regrets that. He wasn't exactly hitting her hard either. They were the ones stuck in the middle and were just trying to make sure that neither of them killed each other.]
I'll drop by the farm in a few months. Give him just enough time to miss me.

She didn't intend for it to involve getting lost in the middle of Creepy Woods in the middle of Europe, but apparently that's a thing.]
And of course there's no signal.
[Thanks super special Stark phones.]

Okay. Let's ... take it from the top. Target the one on the left.

which was not actually the point. ] Prokletstvo!

That was better than the last time.
[But it wasn't actually good.]

[ like. incredibly loose definition. ]

The definition of "better" is improved or surpassed. You surpassed your last run, which means it's better. I didn't say it was great.

It's not a question of when she'll strike. It's how she'll do it. Even Wanda isn't entirely certain. She knows with the right amount of mind games she can get away with taking them out. She also knows she wants them to feel as helpless and scared as she was. That requires a more personal touch.
Of course this would be when Natasha interrupts her. Her eyes flare as she turns to the other woman.] I don't have time for you.
no subject
Make time. Is this really the road you want to go down?
no subject
Her power flares towards the other woman, but never connects. As angry and hurt as she is, Natasha forgave the unforgivable once upon a time. Wanda had used a memory that was both incredibly traumatic and invasive against Natasha despite the fact that her grudge was against Stark. She punished all the Avengers for consorting with the enemy. She had done so with all the malice and cruelty a person could.
It was wrong, but they forgave her. Natasha even mentored her up until everything fell apart. Her fingers curl into fists. She's still defiant and proud but, there's less bite to it now.]
Why shouldn't I? They made it clear what they intend to do to us.

[Natasha's betrayal wasn't intentional, and if asked, she would explain that she was on the run just as much as she was. That she was the one who let Steve go in the end, and Tony only just barely was able to keep her out of Ross' hands in that particular moment. She tried to fight for Wanda and the others diplomatically, but that didn't work.
She's the Avenger they look to for diplomacy, which is funny, considering what a traitor she truly is to her own country. But at the same time, she doesn't want Wanda to make things worse for herself.]
There are better ways to discredit Ross. Ways that won't get you locked away again.
no subject
She nods the way Pietro would when he saw reason.] Do you have a plan?
no subject
[Her plans take time and careful steps so no one sees her coming. Russia trained her well, for better or for worse.]
I need information - information I can't get if you tear him to pieces.

Whatever happened to that big green man? You'd think it would be hard to keep him hidden.

She was running toward the house laughing as if she didn't have a care in the world. At that time, she didn't her whole world was safe inside the walls of that house. She could see her father standing on the porch kneeling down with his arms open waiting for her to run into them. It was then there was a loud crash that had Yelena jerking awake gun in hand as her mind raced to catch up with the real world around her. " Hello?" she called out staying behind the door of her bedroom.
no subject
Yelena calls out and she shakes her foot out as she calls back. "You know, if I was a real intruder, you just told me where you were."
no subject
Natasha was correct, the place was boobie trapped. Yelena didn't trust anyone and the only way she was getting any sleep was to set traps. Her hand moving up to turn off a switch above the door way. " Okay, I think I got them all." she said with a nod.
" Hey why don't you call instead of breaking in to your own sister's house like a crazy person?" she said opening the fridge to get out a bottle of orange juice, one in which she did not bother to get a glass for simply drinking right out of the gallon jug.
no subject
Not that she thinks Yelena would, but they clearly only know how to banter. It is their sisterly love language and Natasha isn't about to give it up now. She waits patiently until she's free before moving to shift up onto the counter to give Yelena a little more space to move.
"What fun would that be? Besides, I gotta help keep your skills sharp."
