[ wanda follows natasha's instructions, but instead of the careful, targeted blast... her magic explodes from her, feeding on her frustration, and incinerating the target, completely obliterating it.

[Natasha sighs heavily as she watches, focusing more on the girl than the damage she's caused.]

That was better than the last time.

[But it wasn't actually good.]

Your definition of better is very loose.

[ like. incredibly loose definition. ]

[Her eyebrows go up a bit.]

The definition of "better" is improved or surpassed. You surpassed your last run, which means it's better. I didn't say it was great.

[ fine, natasha, your definition of better is completely accurate, but wanda remains stubborn, crossing her arms with discontent for her progress. or lack thereof. she's frustrated, which only makes her tenuous control that much worse.

[Natasha pauses for a moment, watching her again, before moving closer, placing her hands on the other girl's shoulders gently.]

Why don't we try ... not having any control?

[This seems like a bad idea, but it may help, at least clear things out.]

You're angry. You're grieving. Use your powers to blow off some of that anger, and don't worry about if it's perfect.

[whatchoice]

I'm not sure it's a good idea for you to be in the room if that happens. [ she did eviscerate those ultron robots after pietro died. if she can do that to a robot, imagine what she could do to a fleshy human. it would be very bloody. ]

[spysassin]

... Good point.

[She steps back and starts to head out the door.]

I'll be out here. Let me know when you're done.

[whatchoice]

Alright.

[ there is an awful lot of violent sounding STUFF happening in the room but she doesn't really let natasha know she's done as the door suddenly crumples in on itself as if crushed with thousands of tons of pressure and suddenly the noises stop and wanda's face peeks out, cheeks flushed from exertion but looking surprisingly tension free for once. ]

I'm done.

[spysassin]

Good.

[Natasha makes her way closer as she does, looking her over carefully.]

Feel better?

[whatchoice]

Yes. The room may not be... useful, anymore, however.

[ that's putting it lightly and to punctuate her point, a light bulb explodes behind her. ]

[spysassin]

[Natasha glances around for a moment takes in all the destruction, and shrugs.]

I'll make Tony fix it.

[whatchoice]

I'm not sure he'll like that idea. [ cleaning up another of wanda's messes... ]

[spysassin]

He'll be fine.

[She turns and gestures for Wanda to follow, walking away from the disaster zone.]

He likes to fix things. He finds it soothing. Besides, I know he made equally large messes when he was perfecting his own tech.

[whatchoice]

Those are his messes. [ which is the difference, but if nat says he won't mind... wanda trusts her. ]

[spysassin]

Technically, so is this one.

[Which is about as much blame as she'll throw on Tony for what happened to the Maximoffs. Their powers are results of Tony's weapons, her brother is gone because of Tony's solution to world peace, he can repair a training room if it helped make amends.]
