Kate's recommendation carries some weight, and they do want to work on building their allyship with the team in Gotham. So taking on a Gotham vigilante makes sense. But that doesn't mean Ava isn't going to vet her just to be sure.]

Mom just took her along for the ride and Dad got bullied into accepting it. She never had to win anyone ever. She can't even say her work speaks for itself since she's from a frankly pretty dark future. At least her cousin believes in her. Small favors, right? Maybe she can win this woman over too.]
