Holy shit... [Yeah, that's how he greets her.]

Are you--? [A wide smile slides over his face.] Christ, haven't seen you in years!

[She's not back back. Not yet. She's here because she has something that Wynn should probably look at, but that isn't stopping her from checking in to see which of the familiar faces are still around. When she sees Andrew, her smile brightens and she basically runs for him, ready to pull him into a tight hug.]

Holy shit yourself.

[She laughs.]

It's good to see you.

[Yep, that hug is definitely returned. Have a giant irishman wrapping his arms around you and squeezing tight.]

You too! What're you doin' here? Not that I mind, but...

[He worries that it means something is wrong.]

[It means something is slightly wrong, anyway.]

I ran into something that I think ... they might be able to use the knights help. So I thought I'd take it to Wynn to see what he thought.

[There's a beat.]

And, I figured that while I was here, I might as well ... poke around. See what's happening.

[Then there's another pause as she glances back over her shoulder.]

Did they do something new with the lobby?

Uh- yeah. We had some... forced redecoration. [He scratches at the back of his neck, squinting a bit.] Sort of a long story.

You got enough time to grab a pint or something?

[nonconfrontational]

[She nods.]

Yeah, sure. All the bars in the same place?

[Because she knows how much drinking goes on in this castle.]

Just where you left them. [He turns and even offers her an arm if she wants to take it. Which is probably a new thing. He's way more comfortable talking to her. Not that she was ever especially weird around her. He was just...weird. With everyone.]

[She's noticing. And she will take that arm because she's the friendly sort, and will start following him in that direction.]

You seem ... really good. You been busy while I've been gone?

[He looks down at her and has a little smile on his face.]

Could say that. Been doing lot of work with the Hoard, really getting into the swing of things. They've got me running equipment orientation a lot of the time now.

[And then super nonchalant, like it's not even a big deal.] And then there's my wife and the fact that we've got a baby on the way.

[Ice powers + water powers = fun ice dancers, basically. With a wave of her hand Rosario can raise and bend water to her will like Katara and a blast of Gemma's ice powers makes them freeze in whatever shape Rosario bends them into. Good times are being had by all.]

Honestly? I kinda want to watch Fantasia now. All this ice capades has given me a weird craving for mushrooms dancing to Tchaikovsky.

[ she looks over like "y'feel me?", putting her hands on her hips. ]

[She laughs a bit at that before nodding.]

Sounds perfect. I'll get the potato chips.

Yes! [ who loves getting her way? gemma loves getting her way. ] You're due for some relaxation, anyway, mija. You work too much. You're going to die from a stress related incident.

Hey now, I relax plenty. Clerics of Eldath are notorious for being super chill.

[Water is deceptive that way, because no, she really does need to take a break.]

You're the least chill person I know. Including me. At least when it comes to work.

[And maybe at the same time she's trying to prove something to herself, but that's neither here nor there for the moment.]

Elba National Park, Egypt. 2013

The duel to the death had gone in both men's favor that day, but for Baal it left him beaten and slashed as he left the ship in the national park on the Egyptian border. All he owned was in his pockets, and it soon became quite obvious to him that he had staged his defection at a rather bad time and location.

He knew there was a road that ran through the park, but he didn't know how far he was from it. Not to mention the slash along his arm that was hidden under his jacket which he could feel the blood dripping from his fingers to the ground. If he didn't find a way to a town soon, he was going to end up dead from his wounds.

At least I will die in my homeland.

When he couldn't walk any further, he found a tree by the river and sat down to let his fingers dip into the water before bringing it to his lips. Maybe if he just closed his eyes and rested here for a moment...

Rosario doesn't always wind up hoofing it on foot through national parks, but when she does, she usually finds ways to take her time. Nature is where she feels closest to her deity, and a good hike is a great way to take a calming break between stops. Today, she's hiking her way through Elba National Park, but it's clear when she stumbles on where Baal's decided to take a nap, that this isn't going to be one of her usual calm hikes.

Thankfully, she almost always has healing spells prepared.

"... Shit," she gasps as she darts her way over, dropping down to her knees next to him and assessing his injuries. Once she knows what's happening she closes her eyes, laying hands on him for a moment and healing as much as she can. The only thing on her mind is a silent prayer for her deity to intercede on his behalf and hopefully it will be enough.

He stirred when he felt the hands touching him, and then there was a jolt through his system and he gasped, feeling the energy of the spell working it's way through him. His eyes opened and he looked at the woman kneeling next to him, confused as he caught his breath.

"What are you doing?" he asked in Arabic.

Rosario does not speak Arabic. She's collected a few languages over her travels, and she does know just enough of any language to ask "Do you speak English?" But she's found that some things translate through any dialect, and she reaches under her shirt to fish out her holy symbol from under her shirt and hold it up so he can see.

"I'm a cleric of Eldath." She gives him a small I'm harmless I promise smile. "I saw you were hurt and I was just trying to help."

"I do speak English, yes," he said, his accent thick. "Just not often."

His eyes squinted at the holy symbol, and then shook his head. "I know not what Eldath is. But thank you."

"Not many people know her. She tends to lay low." She gives him a small smile in return before rocking back on her heels and holding her hands out to him. "Do you think you're strong enough to stand? I can do another healing spell if you need more."

She can always re-prepare spells later. This man clearly needs her help now.

"It will depend." He groaned and shifted, going to pull his jacket down to look at his arm. The blood-soaked sleeve was where his ex-captain had slashed his off-arm when he had raised it as a block. Better to lose a limb than his neck.

Rosario's eyes follow his to his arm, and she doesn't hesitate, reaching forward to place a hand against it gently. It doesn't take long for the soft glow to extend from her hands again as the skin begins to stitch itself up and the pain begins to fade.

The blood, she can't do anything about. But at least the wound is gone.
