It's a lesson that Jennifer is slowly learning and learning hard, finding herself stumbling through the aftermath of a spell that certainly seems to have blown her somewhere else. It's frustrating, but for the most part, she can make it out as a city. American, judging by the brands everywhere, and ... a whole lot of mundanes.
It's not that she doesn't like mundanes. It's just that there are never usually this many of them. As in she can't seem to spot a single magical person in the vicinity.
Then suddenly one appears. A bright red aura, brighter than Deirdre's ever was, walks past her heading to one of the local cafes. Jennifer follows her easily, trying to catch up as she best she can, before gently reaching out for the woman's shoulder.]
Excuse me? I could use a hand.
[Hopefully she's not one of the magic users who hate paladins.]

lemme know if this doesn't work
"Poor baby paladin," the ever so charming bartender teases, before placing another beer in front of her. "It'll get easier after a while."]
Promises, promises.
[She takes a swig of her beer, long and slow, before she looks down the edge of the bar and notices a girl sitting on the end of it. The muted green of her aura denotes witch, and she can't be any older than Jennifer, but she's fairly certain she's never seen her before. She glances back to Noah, before pointing with her beer.]
New girl?
["From what I can tell, yeah. Won't say much about herself, but her name's Bonnie."]
Bonnie.
[She takes another swig of her beer, before tipping her head to the side.]
Should I go talk to her?
["I would not take this the wrong way, Jen, but your people skills are not the greatest." Noah offers her a smile. "I mean that in a good way."]
I don't there's a good way for that to sound. What would Aaron have done?
[He doesn't respond, wiping the rag against the top of the bar idly. She knows that Aaron's approach shouldn't be hers, but at least it's a step in the right direction. She gives him a small smile, before getting to her feet and making her way closer to sit on the stool one over from Bonnie, silver cross hanging around her neck and the closest she has to a friendly smile on her face.]
Hey. I'm Jennifer.
