[And probably not ... at all, because while he knows it's great that he and Iris are happy and had a family together at some point in some alternate universe, it's still weirds him out that it's Grandpa.]

Right! Also, cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving.

You know I've only had like two of those my whole life? The turkey won't know what hit it this year.

Only two? You seem older than that.

I'm almost sixteen. [He's more than a little proud of that.] But uh, I was born in the 30th century, so Thanksgiving isn't a thing anymore.

I had to travel back to ours to really experience it.

[His eyebrows go up at that and if anything he almost seems ... disappointed.]

Man, the thirtieth century sucks.

No, I think that all sounds really cool.

But Thanksgiving is the best holiday ever, and should not be ignored.

Because of the food, right? Joan makes the best turkeys.

Do you cook the turkeys? Or is that all Grandma's thing?

Joe is Iris' dad. Have you had the chance to meet him yet?

Not really. Great-Grandpa wasn't around by my time.

[At least, he's guessing so given how little he knows.]

[He nods in agreement.]

Well, you'll get to meet him now. You can come over for dinner tonight. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of having another Allen with a speedster metabolism around.

[impulsive]

Really? [Bart's trying so hard not to look hopeful. Family meetings don't usually go so well for him.] You don't think he'd mind??

I should bring him something, though. Cake, right? Flowers? Ooh, maybe a subscription to one of those boring magazines I've heard he likes?

[This is clearly the Most Important Question on his mind: what does a guy bring to his first meeting with Great-Grandpa?]

[He laughs a bit at that, before shaking his head.]

I think cake is probably your best bet.

[He IS the kid who once read the entire San Francisco library - cover to cover - out of complete boredom.]

Buuut Great-Grandpa's not getting a regular store-bought cake, so! You're gonna be my sous-chef.

[His eyebrows go up a bit at that in surprise.]
