[That just makes him grin more, before leaning back against the couch.]

That could be fun. Oh, and you can meet mine too. Which is...basically two coworkers and my sister. Which sounds really lame now that I say it out loud.

[He shakes his head.]

My team basically consists of my three best friends. We all gotta start somewhere, and it should be with people you trust. This isn't the kind of thing we should do alone.

[She nods in agreement.]

I can't imagine doing it on my own. I don't know how my cousin managed it for as long as he did.

[He was pretty intense about being a lone wolf for a time okay.]

The Arrow did too. He's getting better at being a team player, though. At least, when we manage to force him into it.

Oh? I didn't realize you were the kind of guy to strong arm someone into it. [She's sort of teasing at least.]

[He laughs a bit.]

I'm not, usually. But I make an exception with him - if you don't, he won't even bother to try.

Why not? [She doesn't know a lot about the Arrow. Probably for this exact reason.]

[supertardiness]

He's got a lot of trust issues. Like ... major trust issues. He's very sensitive about his identity.

[myvictories]

And you're not? I mean- you don't exactly advertise who you are.

[supertardiness]

No, not really. But if he trusts someone with his identity, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and trust them too. He ... doesn't really extend the same courtesy to the people I trust.

[myvictories]

[She's quiet for a moment, thinking it over how she feels about that sort of thing.]

Well, like I said- I trust your judgement. [Just clarifying while they're talking about things.]

How long until your friends get here with that pizza, do you think?

[There's a knock on the door, and Barry hops up to open it.]

That should be them now.
