"It was a brilliant idea. I love it in fact. There shouldn't be any stress, nerves, the like," Ethan says in agreement, watching her as she leans back in her seat. The smile on his face slips into this mischievous thing. "Would you be stressed or nervous if we'd gone on a first date somewhere else?"

He's curious to know.

"No." There's a pause. "Well ... not exactly. I think first dates kind of make everyone nervous, you know? It's that ... change. From two people who were just talking, or friends, to ... maybe something more. It's the potential that makes people nervous more than anything else."

She takes another pull on her beer before smirking. "But since I already know that you're an awesome kisser, I'd say our potential is pretty good. My bad nerves are almost nonexistent. I've only got the good kind."

Ethan smiles at what she says and how she puts it to words. "That is very true. It's the first step which can be the most daunting sometimes, can't it?" He tilts his head as he looks over at her.

The sight of her smirk is beautiful to him. "You are quite the incredible kisser yourself, Cami. I'm very pleased I got the chance to how ever the first date may go," he says. "So do we get to play pool or darts too?"

"I would be game for either of those options." There's a pause as she holds up her beer, one finger pointing to the ceiling as she does. "Fair warning, however, that while I am really terrible at darts, I can be quite the pool shark. Choose your challenge carefully."

Ethan sends her a slow, wide smile especially when she holds up her beer and points toward the ceiling. He leans over with his elbow resting against the top of the table. His chin resting against his hand as he looks at her. "Now see, I absolutely love a challenge though so I'm going to choose pool even though it means you're likely going to kick my ass at it."

He's not a sore loser at all, and he finds it incredibly attractive to see a woman bring out her skills and kick someone's ass at something whether that's his or someone else's.

She grins a bit at that, before nodding, moving to slide out of the booth so they could go play. "Alright, then. Let's rack 'em." She was hoping that he would choose pool - he didn't seem like the type that would back away from a challenge, even though so many people on a first date would - wanting to show off with something they could succeed at.

"As you wish," Ethan says, looking back at her with a flirty smile as he walks towards the pool table. He'll get it all racked up for her, ahem. He'll get all those balls in a triangle, because she's his date and she should get to stand back while he does all the work, okay? He's a gentleman, and she's going to beautifully kick his ass at this.

He can't wait. Ethan slides all of those balls into a triangle, handing her the pool stick. He leans against the pool as he watches her. "After you, my dear."

Ladies first.

"Thank you." She grins as she takes the cue from him before going to line up her shot. She takes her time, weighing the shot carefully, before taking it. The balls scatter across the table bouncing off the walls and one of the solids sink into the corner pocket. There's a pleased little bounce before she turns to make her way around to line up her next shot.

"Feeling the heat yet?" She is totally teasing.

Ethan stands back, watching as she takes her cue and lines up her shot. He happens to feel pool can be a very sexy game or... maybe that's simply Cami. She looks so poised and beautiful, and then there's that absolutely adorable pleased, little bounce of hers. Her reaction has him smiling, all genuine charm and fondness.

"I am actually. You might not realize it because you're incredibly adorable pleased bounce has made me smile helplessly, but I am intensely feeling the heat of your skills, Cami. I don't know how I'll handle it."

She laughs at that, before nodding as she finds her next shot and goes to line it up. "I'm sure you'll figure it out. After all, I am expecting some steep competition here." She then glances back to the table, lining up her shot, and having it bounce off the wall, just missing the pocket. She winces, before glancing back to him.

"Your turn."

Ethan smirks a tiny bit at that. "I'm absolutely hoping I can give you the steep competition which you deserve," he says as he stares at her. His gaze drags over her as she lines up her next shot though he winces right along with her at how it misses the pocket.

"Now there's the pressure added on, would hate to disappoint you and your need for steep competition," he says with a wink before he leans over the table, lining up his own shot. He sinks the ball right in, and he smiles, pleased with himself.

She laughs a bit as she watches the ball sink, before making her way around the table to stand next to him as he lines up his next shop. "I think you are doing just fine on the competition front." She also may be doing it to have the excuse of standing next to him, if nothing else.

It's totally not a distraction technique. Nope, not at all.
