That ... was probably the most awkward Thanksgiving Dinner she had ever been to.
She probably should have bowed out of it, but a) Caroline would have killed her and b) she's been wanting to meet Allison for a while. She makes Stefan happy, and actually meeting her face to face was a good choice. Spending most of the dinner dodging passive aggressive comments from Damon, however, was not. After spending most of the night huddling in a corner with Bonnie and Caroline, she breaks free, making her way out into the streets of Beacon Hills to see what the night life has to offer.
It's quiet, compared to Mystic Falls - way less bars to calm the urges of functioning alcoholic vampires - but there is one bar that she manages to make her way into, sliding up onto one of the stools and scanning the faces curiously, trying to get a feel of the kind of clientele or of they're vampire friendly, but for now, things seem to be okay.
She pauses, squinting at the bottles before flashing the bartender her best smile.
"Bourbon. Neat." Some Damon-gained habits die hard. "Thanks."
