[She pauses for a moment, before reaching for whatever paper he has in front of him and turning it around to face her.]

[Matt doesn't react to her taking the paper in front of him. it's notes on her case, anyway, and even if it wasn't, he doubts she'll be able to read it. it's in Braille, after all]

They're all people who were manipulated by Kilgrave. I found them myself.

[It's not much to go on, but it's a start.]

I know at least one of them will talk to you. His name is Malcolm. But I don't know how he'd hold up in court.

Kilgrave turned him into a drug addict. He would feed his habit in return for doing errands for Kilgrave, mostly spying on me. At a certain point, it gets a little blurred on whether he was doing it because Kilgrave told him to or because he just wanted a fix.

[and Matt winces on his behalf]

Fun. [a beat] Well. If nothing else, I can still talk to him. [maybe he can figure out how to make it work]

[She nods.]

Malcolm's a good guy. He's ... trying to make amends. He'll want to help.

[She gives a small shrug.]

I'm sure Trish Walker has a lot to say, but a lot of it would be hearsay. I'm not sure if you could use it in court.

[She tears off the piece of paper and shoves it in her pocket.]

[he nods, starting to gather his things, to shove them into his bag]

I'll be around, if you need anything. [a beat] And again, I'm sorry about all of this. [his involvement in it]

[She shrugs.]

Not like you had a choice. Get me out of jail and we'll call it even.
