Once upon a time, a fae girl who didn't know she was fae named Bo Dennis asked the abyss for help and help came in the form of a goddess-in-training named Julia Wicker. Julia couldn't change what Bo was, or the things she had done, but she did point her in the direction she needed to go. She found far more answers than she ever thought possible, and she never wouldn't have gotten there if Julia hadn't been in the right place at the right time.

A few years later, Bo is sitting at the bar of the Dahl when Julia walks into her life again - this time using the front door, rather than appearing out of nowhere. When she sees her, Bo can't help the grin that splits her face, and she gets to her feet to go meet her.
